phu! Long time no see, ey? i've been working on that intro splash-thingy, couldn't decide which one to choose from the two versions... so i uploaded it to devart, and waited for some reactions...

Hmmm...No syntax highlighting, but the spinning logo thingy is way cool. I think I should find ways to incorporate more Flash in kewlpÄd.

Made a significant speed-up in start-up time. Now 50% faster.
Workin' hard on syntax highlighting, using a C++ DLL I wrote. Turns out kewlpÄd won't be 100% VB after all...

Bug Report & Fix
A few people report that when they load kewlpÄd, a second blank window appears. If you're using WindowBlinds, please add kewlpÄd to the list of EXCLUDED apps. This should do the trick.

For the vast, graphic-horned audience of kewlpad-groupies, i've been working on some "intrance Splash", to add an "intrance page" to the site (to flow in the mainstream of l33tness) ...anyway, i've been tweaking 99 goddamn layers! No, i'm not too satisfied with the results. But i'm tired. Finally, two versions came out: a "sad" and a "happy" version.

KewlpÄd is a notepad. A skinnable one. Well, You surely gonna ask, "Why the hell should I use another xx-new skinnable pad??" Well, here are some possible answers for you:
- You shouldn't. Go away, scum.
- You should use it, because we look
very sexy and have very big [**censored**]... - Because you just have to get ANY goddam' skinnable app there is on this skinned planet!!
- Because there's still no skinneable notepad, which You can use for scribbling down your HTML stuff. most pads arent't resizable. They've got skin, but no flex, OK? And there's some resizable pads, but their skinnability is just bad.
- OK, ok. They've already released another pad that
is better, faster, bigger, whatever...Now Look: When we started
working on this, we wanted to have something interesting.
But there will always be something better. I don't know, of
course this pad isn't perfect, but it's our project and I
thinks it's cute. The app is made for small skins that
give you more fun to write your stuff down, not for some
huge skins, where the textscreen
is only 30% of the whole skin.
